Robin Chesnut-Tangerman, House of Representatives, Rutland-Bennington (one of two seats)
Hi, Robin Chesnut-Tangerman. In 2014 I was first elected to the legislature, representing the communities of Middletown Springs, Pawlet, Rupert, Tinmouth, and Wells. I have served in many capacities both in my town and in the larger community, and have been a self-employed builder, an educator, a writer, parent, renewable energy advocate, and realtor. All of which helps me approach issues from multiple angles.
In the House, I have served on several committees including as Chair of the Legislative Committee on Administrative Rules and currently as Vice Chair of General Affairs and Housing. In addition, I have been very involved in issues ranging from pollinator protection and high speed internet to tax policy and non-discrimination.
I am now running for a re-election to continue the critical work facing Vermont, to continue asking probing questions, and seeking long term solutions, listening to different perspectives and constantly building toward a better Vermont for us and our children.
If you live in the Rutland-Bennington legislative district, please vote for me on November 5.
